Wildline Reaches Keyword Milestone

SAN FRANCISCO — Adult traffic solutions provider Wildline has reached a milestone: the company now employs more than 3 million keywords indexed across more than 150 content categories.

Wildline, which has been providing targeted Internet marketing campaigns to the adult industry since 2001, sees the milestone as a boon for its customers.

"Wildline has significantly strengthened its ability to connect relevant traffic streams and search queries to any sponsor program's adult content because we have the keywords they need to optimize traffic results," Wildline web traffic consultant Johnny V said. "Additionally, we know which keywords have worked well historically, can quickly evaluate which keywords will work well together for specific sponsor programs and continually optimize ongoing traffic campaigns."

According to a Jupiter research estimate, 85 percent of all search engine click-throughs result from search engine result pages.

Wildline President Charles Hentrich sees that figure as a critical warning to webmasters who rely on free traffic for their sites.

"Relying on free web traffic to operate a business is risky because free search engine listings can disappear overnight," Hentrich said. "By paying for their traffic, clients have greater control of their business."

In addition to its array of keywords, Wildline offers paid inclusion, which means that a customer’s page appears within the results on a results page, rather than as ads next to the results.
